1. Backstory:

Loud Star was born out of an unconventional union of disparate souls in the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, in 2013. The five-piece band consists of members Olivia Diaz (vocals, guitar), brothers Jake and Alex Mills (bass, drums respectively), Sara Thomas (keyboard), and Ethan Phillips (lead guitar). They were all performing as solo artists or part of other groups when they met at a local open-mic night. A shared love of classic rock, blues, and a desire to create a unique sound led them to form Loud Star.

The band enjoyed local success with their high-energy performances, gaining a dedicated fan base who were drawn to Loud Star’s magnetic on-stage chemistry and fresh take on rock music. Their breakout moment came in 2015 when their debut album “Light It Up” was picked up by a renowned music producer, catapulting them into the national spotlight. Loud Star is known for their electrifying performances, dynamic music, and lyrics that resonate with people’s real-life experiences.
