Lucky Paper

Backstory:

Lucky Paper was formed in 2013 in a small suburban garage in Austin, Texas, by five high school friends who shared a passion for music. The boys named their band after a paper plane competition they held one afternoon, where they couldn’t stop laughing at the absurdity of them all trying to fold the papers perfectly. The one that flew the farthest was named the ‘Lucky Paper’. Their shared joy and camaraderie that particular afternoon was something they wanted to carry forward into their music.

After graduating, the bandmates decided to take a gap year to focus on music and ended up never looking back. They started performing at local gigs and slowly garnered a small but passionate fanbase. In 2016, their debut album “Origami Dreams” was a surprise hit, and they’ve been soaring in the music industry ever since. Their songs, filled with tales of friendship, dreams, and the ups and downs of growing up, resonate with their fans.

Title: “Wings of Change”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse)
G#m F# E B
Woke up this morning, feeling kind of blue,
G#m F# E B
Looked out the window, searching for a clue.
G#m F# E B
In my hand, a piece of paper I found,
G#m F# E B
Folded it gently, a plane that’s outbound.

(Chorus)
G#m F# E B
Fly, fly, wings of change,
G#m F# E B
Carrying dreams, across the range.
G#m F# E B
Lucky paper, in the sky,
G#m F# E B
Take us high, where the dreams lie.

(Verse)
G#m F# E B
With every fold, a story to be told,
G#m F# E B
Of friendships gold, and dreams we hold.
G#m F# E B
Lucky paper, take us far,
G#m F# E B
Beyond the horizon, past the stars.

(Chorus)
G#m F# E B
Fly, fly, wings of change,
G#m F# E B
Carrying dreams, across the range.
G#m F# E B
Lucky paper, in the wind,
G#m F# E B
Take us to places, we’ve never been.

(Outro)
G#m F# E B
So, here we stand, tools in our hand,
G#m F# E B
Creating dreams, on life’s grand stand.
G#m F# E B
Lucky paper, tamed and wild,
G#m F# E B
Carry us forward, like a child.
