Backstory:
In the vibrant city of Liverpool, England, where numerous musical legends have found their genesis, Massive Cloth was born. Founded in 2008 by lead singer and songwriter Ian Fletcher, the band started as a one-man project in a grimy basement with just a guitar and a handful of dreams. Over time, Fletcher managed to attract like-minded artists, including multi-instrumentalist Sarah Collins, bassist Ed Graham, and drummer Darren White. After countless hours of jamming in the basement, they found a unique sound that resonated with their shared vision. Each member brought their own influences and talents to the mix, and the end result was unlike anything the Liverpool music scene had ever witnessed.
Massive Cloth truly came into its own when they played their first gig at the local pub, The Auld Triangle. The audience was spellbound by the raw energy and passion with which the band performed. Word quickly spread about this new act and the band’s popularity skyrocketed. Now, Massive Cloth is not just a band, but a symbol of unyielding spirit and the audacity of dreams.

“I’m Jack, a Liverpool local and a Massive Cloth superfan. I’ve watched them grow from a promising band playing in local pubs to a world-renown alternative rock sensation. Their music is a beautiful blend of haunting lyrics and unforgettable melodies. The raw emotion in their song “Lost in the Echo” resonated with me on a deeply personal level. It’s like they’ve put my feelings into words and turned it into a symphony. Every chord, every lyric, every note they play is an echo of my own heart. That’s why they are my absolute favourite band, they encapsulate a shared human experience in their music.”
