Backstory:

Mature Flavor started as a passion project between childhood friends, Matt O’Connor and Frank Stevens, in the sleepy town of Sandusky, Ohio. Initially starting off as garage jam sessions, the duo felt a unique connection that translated into their music. Their shared love for classic rock and soulful tunes provided a foundation for their sound. Eventually, their high school buddies, Carl Peters and Sam Johnson, joined them on bass and drums respectively.

Their breakthrough came when they performed at the local fair, catching the attention of a talent scout who happened to be passing through. Their sound resonated with the crowd in a way they had never seen before. The scout, astounded by their talent, offered them a recording contract on the spot. Since then, Mature Flavor has been serving up their unique blend of soulful rock and blues across the nation, gaining a dedicated fan base.
