Backstory:
Once classmates with a shared passion for music, the Western Springs High School’s after school rock club was the birthplace of the band ‘Mean Youngster’. The original members, consisting of lead singer and guitarist Jake Davis, drummer Alex Levy, and bassist Matt Walton, were initially separate entities within the club. However, their mutual love for punk rock and devotion to their craft led them to form a group that would soon become a force in the local music scene. Their shared ambition to bring an edgy yet sophisticated sound to the masses eventually saw the group rise from playing small gigs at school events to the grand stages of popular music festivals.
