Backstory:

Measly Record, a unique four-piece band, was born in the lively student neighborhoods of Austin, Texas. College pals, Pete Thompson (lead vocals, guitar), Harry Davis (bass), Mike Rodriguez (drums), and Sam Bell (keyboard, backing vocals), started the band as a means to express their shared love for music and to escape the mundane routine of student life. Their idea was simple – create music that tells a story, music that resonates with the listener’s emotion and stays with them long after the chords have faded away.

Their creative journey began playing in small gigs and university events. They gradually gained popularity, becoming the “house band” at the local watering hole, The Dusty Saddle. It was at one of these shows where they were scouted by a producer who saw potential in their raw, emotional performances. The rest, as they say, is history.
