Backstory:
Medical Architecture is an avant-garde music group formed in Berlin, Germany. The band comprises three members: lead vocalist and bassist Stefan Keller, guitarist Vanessa Hagen, and drummer Anton Grimm. Established in 2013, the trio initially met at a local art collective where they discovered their shared passion for music. They began experimenting with different sounds in their basement and, over time, created a unique sound that sparked their musical journey.
Stefan, with his background in medical science, introduced an element of health and wellness into their music, whereas Vanessa, an architecture graduate, brought in the aspect of structured soundscapes and design, hence the name Medical Architecture was born. Their music quickly gained traction amongst the Berlin underground scene, leading to prominent gigs at popular festivals around Europe.

“Cathedral of Cells”
Full Song lyrics:
(Verse)
Em Dm C B7
In the cathedral of cells, where the heartbeats dwell,
Em Dm C B7
Where veins are the aisles and arteries swell,
Em Dm C B7
We dance to the rhythm, the pulse and the flow,
Em Dm C B7
In the cathedral of cells, where life’s secrets glow.
(Chorus)
C G Am Fmaj7
In the blueprint of existence, in the structure of our soul,
C G Am Fmaj7
In the medical architecture, where healing makes us whole.
C G Am Fmaj7
In the cathedral of cells, we find our truest self,
C G Am Fmaj7
In the cathedral of cells, in health we find our wealth.

Anna’s Testimonial:
“I’ve always had an appreciation for music that breaks boundaries and explores new territories. Medical Architecture does exactly that with their unique blend of post-punk and experimental rock. I was drawn to their sound and stayed for the messages in their music. ‘Cathedral of Cells’ is more than just a song, it’s a manifestation of life, biology, architecture, and music. It’s a testament to their creativity and their desire to use music as a medium to understand and appreciate the complexities of our existence. Medical Architecture doesn’t just create music, they create experiences, and that’s why they’re my favorite band.”
