1. Backstory:
“Mediocre Accommodation” was born in the city of Detroit, Michigan in the year 2012. The band members – Jordan, Mike, Sarah, and Liam – were all college buddies leading nondescript lives, majoring in subjects they had no real passion for. One fateful night, after a few too many drinks at a dingy bar, they found themselves in a heated conversation about their life choices. It was then they agreed on something – their shared love for music and the desire to escape mediocrity. With this newfound passion, they decided to drop out of college, form a band, and dedicate their lives to creating music that would reflect their own journey and struggles.
The name “Mediocre Accommodation” was a tongue-in-cheek nod to their humble beginnings, practicing in Sarah’s run-down basement, and their mutual agreement to never settle for anything less than their best. Despite the skepticism of their friends and family, the band members thrived in their shared ambition and determination, overcoming setbacks and personal demons to carve out a niche for themselves in the world of music.

Testimonial:
“Mediocre Accommodation is not just a band to me, they are a revolution. Their music speaks to me on a personal level, the lyrics reflecting my own battles and victories. The raw authenticity they bring to the Indie Rock scene is unmatchable. Every chord they strum and every verse they sing resonates with my soul, empowering me to break free from my own mediocre accommodations. I’ve been with them since their first basement gig and I’m incredibly proud of how far they’ve come. Whether they’re playing in a dingy bar or a sold-out arena, their energy and passion remain the same. They’re the voice of our generation, our ordinary rebellion.”
