Backstory:
Meek Blade is a band that was formed in the gritty backstreets of Manchester, UK, in 2008. They were originally four friends from school: Liam on vocals, Shaun on guitar, Dave on bass and Andy on drums. They started by jamming in Shaun’s basement, playing covers of their favorite bands and dreaming of one day touring the world. After a couple of years of honing their skills and writing original material, they started performing at local pubs and quickly gained a loyal fanbase due to their raw energy, relatable lyrics, and charismatic performances.
The band’s journey took a significant turn in 2012, when a scout from a major record label saw them perform at a local music festival. Impressed by their talent and potential, he signed them to the label, and Meek Blade’s career skyrocketed. They released their debut album in 2014, which was a commercial success and established the band as a rising star in the UK music scene.
