Backstory:

Minty Gaze was formed in the heart of Seattle, Washington in 2014, when a group of friends, each with their individual music interests, decided to jam together in their basement. The band is made up of five members—lead vocalist Cassie ‘Cass’ Green, lead guitarist Aiden ‘Ad’ Silver, bassist Ryan ‘Ry’ Johnson, drummer Zack ‘Zee’ Holland, and keyboardist Maya ‘Mai’ Thompson. Each of them brought unique music influences to the table, from Cass’s love for indie rock and Ad’s fascination for blues, to Ry’s obsession with grunge, Zee’s interest in punk rock, and Mai’s admiration for synth-pop. Despite their diverse tastes, they found a common ground in their shared love for indie rock, and that’s how Minty Gaze was born. The name comes from a combination of Cassie’s favorite color and the intense, mesmerizing performances they aspire to deliver.
