1. Backstory:

Mixed Sleet, a band born out of the quiet suburbs of Austin, Texas, emerged in 2017. The four-piece band is made up of childhood friends – Shawn (vocals and guitar), Casey (lead guitar), Jordan (drums) and Riley (bass). They spent their high school years jamming in their garages, inspired by the diverse music scene of their hometown. After high school, the group decided to take their passion for music a step further by forming Mixed Sleet.

Their journey began with small gigs at local bars and clubs, catching the attention of many music enthusiasts with their unique sound. Through their shared love for music and unyielding dedication, they managed to create an innovative sound, fusing genres and breaking boundaries. Their popularity skyrocketed after their impromptu performance at the South by Southwest Music Festival, which led to their signing with a major record label.
