Title: “Fading City Lights”

Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em G
Under the fading city lights, we find our truths,
C D
In echoes of our laughter, in our reckless youth.

(Chorus)
G D
Here’s to the nights, lost in the city’s maze,
Em C
To the stories written in its endless haze.

(Verse 2)
Em G
In the shadows of skyscrapers, we learn to fly,
C D
In the rumble of the trains, we let our dreams lie.

(Chorus)
G D
To the city’s rhythm, we sway and glide,
Em C
To its heartbeat, we’ve found our ride.

(Ending)
G D
Under the fading city lights, we’re more than just alive,
Em C
In this city, in its stories, we continue to thrive.

Favorite Fan:
The band’s favorite fan is named Lisa, a librarian from Queens who fell in love with their music during one of their earliest performances. She has since attended all their gigs and even started a fan club in their honor. In Lisa’s words, “Modest Clause isn’t just a band; it’s an experience. Their music translates the city’s pulse into beautiful melodies. Every performance is a love letter to New York City, and as a city dweller, it resonates with me deeply. There’s something incredibly intimate and reassuring in their music, like a friend telling you, ‘Yeah, life is hard, but we’re all in this together.’ That’s why they’re my favorite.”
