Motherly Activity

Backstory:
Formed in the sleepy, coastal town of Sunset Shores, California, Motherly Activity began its journey in the world of music in the late 2000s. The band was born out of the shared dreams and aspirations of two childhood friends, Denise ‘Denny’ Carter and Leopold ‘Leo’ Kingston. Growing up, they were inseparable, their shared love for music acted as an adhesive, bonding them together. It began with random jam sessions in Leo’s garage, which soon progressed to local pub gigs, and eventually led to the formation of Motherly Activity. The band’s name was inspired by Denny’s mother who was always engaged in some activity or the other, balancing work and home while enthusiastically participating in the local community service. Their music often reflects this spirit of relentless energy and a zest for life.
