Backstory:
Born from the eclectic neighborhoods of Brooklyn, Motionless Class emerged on the independent music scene in the late 2010s as an unusual fusion of influences. Band members Jake (vocals/guitar), Mia (bass guitar), and Alex (drums) met while working at the same vinyl record store, discovering their shared passion for music that pushed boundaries. Late-night jam sessions became serious practices, and they decided to form their own band, a testament to their love for blending and reimagining different music genres.

Their breakthrough came in the form of an impromptu gig at a local bar, where a talent scout for an independent record label was seated. The trio’s electrifying performance, combined with their unique sound, led to a recording contract, from which their debut album was launched. The band’s journey has been marked by their commitment to remain creatively motionless, unwavering in their experimental vision, hence the name ‘Motionless Class’.
