Muffled Friction

Backstory:

Muffled Friction, a dynamic band originating from the southern streets of Austin, Texas, came to life in the late summer of 2010 when lead singer and guitarist, Jake Harrison, ran into drummer, Rachel Simmons, at a local dive bar’s open mic night. Their love for rock music and similar tastes in melodic influences bonded them instantly, and soon after, they added bassist, Nick Andrews, and keyboardist, Emily Fernandez, to their lineup. Their shared passion for creating a unique, fresh sound led to a fusion of genres that sets them apart from the mainstream scene.

Title:

“Silent Echoes”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse)
Em C G
Underneath the fading city lights
Em C G
Where the asphalt meets the starlit night
Em C G
You and I, we found our fight
Em C G
In the shadowed corners of the night

(Chorus)
D Em C G
Silent echoes, in the heart of the city
D Em C G
Whispers of love, in the midst of the gritty
D Em C G
Hold on to the rhythm, of our muffled friction
D Em C G
Unseen melodies, our silent addiction

(Verse)
Em C G
Strangers in the neon wilderness
Em C G
Caught in the quicksand of restlessness
Em C G
But in your eyes, I found my bliss
Em C G
In the rhythm of our silent kiss

(Chorus)
D Em C G
Silent echoes, in the heart of the city
D Em C G
Whispers of love, in the midst of the gritty
D Em C G
Hold on to the rhythm, of our muffled friction
D Em C G
Unseen melodies, our silent addiction
