1. Backstory:
Multicolored Gesture was born in the eclectic energy of downtown Brooklyn, New York. The band’s founding members, Oliver “Ollie” Quinn (lead vocals and guitar) and Cassie Monroe (drums), were both students at the New York University when they discovered their shared passion for music. Their chance meeting at a local open-mic night led to late-night jam sessions, and soon, the formation of Multicolored Gesture. The band was later completed with the addition of Max Turner (bass) and Lucia Martinez (keyboard), turning the duo into a quartet.
Their combined influences created a unique sound that soon caught the attention of the local music scene. Multicolored Gesture’s music is deeply rooted in their love for storytelling, the shared human experience, and the colors of life, reflected in their vibrant, soulful performances. Amidst the highs and lows of their journey, the band has remained committed to their mission of connecting people through music.
