Backstory:

Mundane Sample first came together in the eclectic music scene of Austin, Texas, in 2012. They were all college friends who, as part of a joke, entered a local battle of the bands competition. Their quirky, unique tunes and tongue-in-cheek lyrics delighted the crowd, and surprisingly, they won. Thus, Mundane Sample was born. Initially, they were known only within the city, playing at local pubs and music festivals, but as their music spread, so did their popularity. By 2015, they were performing at national music festivals and had released a surprisingly successful debut album.
