Backstory:

Negative Signal is a band that started off as a high school garage band in the heart of Seattle, Washington, in 2007. The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist Sam Jenkins, bassist Danny “Duke” Walters, drummer Pete Mitchell, and keyboardist Emily Reed. They initially played covers of their favorite bands at local gigs, but the chemistry between the members and their collective creativity soon led them to create their own music. As they matured, their sound evolved, incorporating elements from their favored grunge roots with influences from the alternative rock and punk scenes.

Genre:

Negative Signal’s music is a blend of alternative rock, punk, and grunge, with a distinctive raw, emotional edge. Their sound is often compared to the likes of Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Radiohead, yet they manage to maintain their own unique sound that sets them apart from others in the genre.
