Nice Tramp

Backstory:
Nice Tramp is a band that traces its origins back to the lively town of Austin, Texas in 2012. The band is composed of four childhood friends, namely Jake, Lenny, Max, and Chris. Jake and Lenny are the lead vocalists and guitarists, Max is the bassist, while Chris holds the drums. The guys used to jam in their parents’ garages, not knowing that one day they would share the same stage with some of the music industry’s biggest names. They named their band ‘Nice Tramp’ after a local street performer who inspired them to pursue music, believing in the power of music to bring joy and change peoples’ lives.

Their big break came when they won a local music competition, subsequently getting a chance to showcase their talent at the renowned Austin City Limits Music Festival. The overwhelming response from the crowd instantly shot them to fame, and the rest, as they say, is history. Nice Tramp are now known for their unmistakable sound, blending the raw emotion of rock with the rhythmic beauty of blues.

Title:
“Running on Whiskey Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
C Am F G
Running down the highway, feeling kind of low,
C Am F G
With a heart full of blues and a pocket full of woe.
C Am F G
But we’ve got our guitars and a head full of dreams,
C Am F G
Chasing the sunset, as far as it seems.

(Chorus)
C Am F G
We’re running on whiskey dreams, under the neon lights,
C Am F G
Playing our hearts out, every one of these nights.
C Am F G
Yes, we’re running on whiskey dreams, in this concrete jungle,
C Am F G
Making music, making memories, in this beautiful struggle.

(Verse 2)
C Am F G
Our love for the music, is what keeps us sane,
C Am F G
Through the heartache, through the joy, through the pouring rain.
C Am F G
We’re just four boys from Austin, with a song in our hearts,
C Am F G
With our guitars and dreams, ready to make our marks.

(Repeat Chorus)

Fan Testimonial:
Our most loyal fan is Stephanie Brown from Dallas, Texas. She first saw us perform at a small pub in Austin before our big break and has been with us through thick and thin. “Nice Tramp’s music speaks to me on a personal level,” Stephanie says. “Their lyrics, the emotion in their voice, their music resonates with my soul. It’s like they are narrating my life through their songs. I feel a connection with them that I’ve never felt with any other band. Nice Tramp is more than just a band to me; they’re my comfort, my friends, my solace.”
