Backstory:

Nifty Feather was born in the heart of San Francisco’s underground music scene in 2010. Featuring lead vocalist and guitarist Theo Finch, bassist Charlie Denton, and drummer Lucy “Lush” Stevens, the band started as a trio of struggling musicians busking on the busy streets of San Francisco, their original sounds echoing off the buildings. Their grassroots approach to building a fan base, one street corner at a time, eventually paid off. A chance meeting with music producer, Jack Marley, led to a recording contract and the release of their debut album in 2012. The positive feedback it received marked the rise of Nifty Feather, turning them from street musicians into an indie sensation.
