Backstory:
Numb Tail was formed in the summer of 2007, in a small garage in Austin, Texas. Originally a group of four college buddies – Jake Simmons, Paul Robertson, Ben Harris, and Steve Mitchell – who loved jamming together, Numb Tail was born out of their shared passion for music and a desire to innovate. Starting with makeshift instruments and a worn-out sound system, they quickly gained a local following with their unique sound.
Their big break came in 2010 when they won the annual Austin City ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition. From then on, they started touring across Texas, enthralling audiences with their music and energy. Despite their success, the band never lost touch with their humble beginnings and still holds a special fondness for the small garage where it all started.

“Drowning Echoes”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse1) [C] [Am]
[C] In the middle of the night, [Am] when the stars are blind
[C] Lost in the echoes, [Am] where memories unwind
[C] We’re chasing shadows, [Am] in the corners of our mind
[C] Drowning in the echoes, [Am] of the love we left behind.
(Chorus) [F] [G]
[F] Are we just drowning echoes? [G] Lost in the sands of time
[F] Are we the whispers of yesterday? [G] Or just a rhythm in a rhyme?
[F] Are we just drowning echoes? [G] With our hearts on the line
[F] Let’s just be echoes, [G] till the end of time.
(Verse 2) [C] [Am]
[C] Underneath the city lights, [Am] we found our first fight
[C] Tangled in the echoes, [Am] of our youthful might
[C] We were just dreamers, [Am] tracing the edge of the night
[C] Drowning in the echoes, [Am] of a love so bright.
