Backstory:
Obedient Disorder originated in the small town of Monroe, Oregon, where four best friends with a shared love for music decided to form a band in their high school years. The group consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist, Alex Jordan, drummer, Billy Thompson, bassist, Nicky Reynolds, and keyboardist, Jenny Wilson. They had all grown up together, with their friendship stretching back to their elementary school days. In a way, the band was an act of rebellion against their mundane small town life, and a shared dream to create something extraordinary.
Through several years of struggle, persistence and dedication, Obedient Disorder managed to get their big break when they won a local battle of the bands competition, which launched them into the public eye. Their music resonated with many, encapsulating the feeling of being trapped in a small town and dreaming of something bigger. They’ve been creating music and touring ever since, with a mission to inspire their audiences to chase their dreams fearlessly.

“Of Dreams and Rebellion”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro]
C,G,Am,F
[Verse 1]
C
In a town where the stars barely shine,
G
We painted our dreams on the nighttime sky.
Am
Held captive by fences and familiar faces,
F
We found freedom in melodies and empty spaces.
C,G,Am,F
[Chorus]
C
Of dreams and rebellion, we built our world,
G
A symphony spun in the chaos unfurled.
Am
In the mundane, we’ve found our muse,
F
Harmonizing the silence, breaking the ruse.
C,G,Am,F
[Verse 2]
C
Through the sleepy streets, echoes our song,
G
A resounding anthem, powerful and strong.
Am
The rhythm of rebellion, the melody of escape,
F
In every line, a dream taking shape.
C,G,Am,F
[Chorus]
C
Of dreams and rebellion, we built our world,
G
A symphony spun in the chaos unfurled.
Am
In the mundane, we’ve found our muse,
F
Harmonizing the silence, breaking the ruse.
C,G,Am,F
[Bridge]
Em
And though we may leave this town someday,
D
In our hearts, it’ll always stay.
C
For it’s in this quiet, we found our sound,
G
In the midst of conformity, we’ve stood our ground.
[Chorus]
C
Of dreams and rebellion, we built our world,
G
A symphony spun in the chaos unfurled.
Am
In the mundane, we’ve found our muse,
F
Harmonizing the silence, breaking the ruse.
[Outro]
C,G,Am,F
The silent town sleeps, but our music never dies,
Carrying dreams and rebellion, under the starry skies.
