Backstory:
Oblong Hall, a quartet of childhood best friends from the small town of Bexley, Ohio, was formed in the chilly winter months of 2009. The band’s name was inspired by the peculiarly shaped hall in their high school where they would huddle together during lunch breaks to pen down their music and lyrics. Stepping into the music world with a powerful blend of shared dreams and mutual passion, the group members – Jack, Sammy, Robert and Peter, powered through the local Ohio music scene, performing in numerous local venues and festivals before getting their big break in 2014.
The band’s soulful music and poetic lyrics quickly found a place in the hearts of music lovers across the globe. Oblong Hall has since toured extensively, powered by their collective love for sharing their music and winning hearts with their charmingly relatable tunes.

Verse 1: (Am, F, C, G)
(Am) Wake up to the morning sun, (F)
Kissing the horizon,
(C) Catch a dream before it’s gone, (G)
In the echoes of the dawn.

Reflecting all the moments passed,
(C) A story written in the sand, (G)
Carried by the wind’s demand.
Chorus: (C, G, Am, F)
(C) In the echoes in the breeze, (G)
(Am) We find our memories, (F)
(C) Dancing through the autumn leaves, (G)
(Am) Whispering our stories, (F)
Verse 2: (Am, F, C, G)
(Am) Underneath the silver moon, (F)
We play our silent tune,
(C) A melody that sings of love, (G)
Guided by the stars above.
(Am) Lost in the rhythm of the night, (F)
We dance until the morning light,
(C) Our shadows merge into one, (G)
Underneath the rising sun.

(C) Hidden in the moonlit seas, (G)
(Am) Singing our histories. (F)
