Backstory:
Occasional Flame was formed in 2012 in the heart of Austin, Texas. The five members – Andy, Ben, Charlie, Danny, and Ellie – met in a dusty old record store, each of them reaching for the same obscure vinyl. In that serendipitous moment, they discovered a shared passion for music that transcended the conventional. Their bond was instant, and they decided to channel this passion into creating their own unique sound.

In the early days, they juggled their day jobs and the band, often practicing in the dead hours of the night in Charlie’s garage. They started off playing in back-alley bars and at local events. The road to recognition was not easy, but they weathered through it, their shared love for music and each other’s company keeping them going.
