Offensive Care

1. Backstory:

Offensive Care, is a band that was born out of a rebellious spirit and a shared love for alternative music. They came together during their college years in the bustling city of New York, around 2010. The four band members, Eddie Callaghan (Vocals), Jamie Steinberg (Keyboards), Ray Gordon (Guitar), and Amy Hughes (Drums), met during a protest against the rising cost of tuition fees. It was there, amidst the uproar, they discovered their shared passion for music that was unapologetic, raw, and fiercely independent. They started jamming in Eddie’s garage, quickly developing a sound that was a fusion of punk, rock, and electronica. The name Offensive Care was a satirical take on the paradoxical nature of the society they lived in, and the band used their music to voice their dissatisfaction, hopes, and dreams.

“Echoes of Rebellion”

4. Full Song Lyrics with Chord Progression:

[Verse 1 – C, G, Am, F]
In the heart of the city, under the neon glow,
We found each other, in the midst of the chaos and woe.
We’re the unheard voices, the ones they want to suppress,
With our music, we express, we confess.

[Chorus – F, G, C, Am]
Echoes of rebellion, in every note we play,
We are Offensive Care, we’ve got something to say.
We won’t be silenced, we won’t be kept at bay,
In the echoes of rebellion, we find our way.

[Verse 2 – C, G, Am, F]
We stand against the noise, against the unseen control,
With every strum, every beat, we bare our soul.
We are the misfits, the dreamers, the defiant ones,
With our music, we fire the cannons, we fire the guns.

[Chorus – F, G, C, Am]
Echoes of rebellion, in every song we sing,
We are Offensive Care, freedom’s our offering.
We won’t be tamed, we won’t be under their wing,
In the echoes of rebellion, we are the kings and queens.

“I’ve been a fan of Offensive Care since their first underground gig. They’re not just a band; they’re a force, a voice for people like me, disillusioned and frustrated by the society we live in. Their music challenges the status quo, it’s raw, it’s real, and it’s fierce. I connect with their lyrics on a deep personal level, and they inspire me to stand up for what I believe in. Their song ‘Echoes of Rebellion’ is a constant in my playlist. It’s like an anthem of resistance for me. The guys and Amy are so genuine, always taking the time to interact with fans and always staying true to their roots. They are my favorite because they are not just about the music, they’re about a movement.”
