Official Hair

Backstory:

Official Hair was born in the roaring glam-rock scene of the 80s, in a small basement in New Jersey. The band, composed of lead singer and guitarist Louie “Loose Ends” Delvecchio, drummer Billy “Bobby Pins” Grimaldi, bassist Frankie “Fringe” Caputo, and keyboardist Vinnie “Velcro” Russo, quickly gained attention for their flamboyant hairdos, outrageous costumes, and amazing talent on the stage. Their humble beginnings, belting out tunes in garages, quickly turned into a nationwide phenomenon as they played sold-out arenas and dominated the airwaves.

The band’s journey is nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. From the highs of chart-topping hits to lows of bitter disagreements and lineup changes, Official Hair has seen it all. Yet, through all the ups and downs, the band members remained united by their shared love for undeniable, infectious glam rock, their dedication to their fans, and their commitment to maintaining the greatest hair in the history of rock ‘n’ roll.

Title: “Steel Brush Love”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
G C D G
In the mirror’s glare, I saw love’s shine,
G C D G
Her raven tresses, oh, how they entwined.
G C D G
A glistening cascade, a dark divine,
G C D G
Our hearts entangled like a twisted vine.

(Chorus)
C D G
Steel Brush Love, we’re tangled high above,
C D G
In this mane of ours, we found our love.
C D G
Shampoo and curls, in this whirlwind world,
C D G
Our hair’s our banner, forever unfurled.

(Verse 2)
G C D G
Under neon lights, our shadows dance,
G C D G
Her hair a halo, in a wild trance.
G C D G
We’re lost in volumes, of thick romance,
G C D G
In our hairspray love, we found our chance.

(Chorus)
C D G
Steel Brush Love, we’re tangled high above,
C D G
In this mane of ours, we found our love.
C D G
Shampoo and curls, in this whirlwind world,
C D G
Our hair’s our banner, forever unfurled.
