Backstory:
Old Marriage began as a twinkle in the eyes of two high school best friends, Arthur “Artie” Calloway and Samuel “Sammy” Reynolds. Artie and Sammy shared an old-soul love for music and quickly found themselves spending more time in the school’s old music room than anywhere else. As the years passed, they began playing gigs at local bars and venues, earning a small but dedicated fan-base. After graduating, they invited three fellow musicians, Melinda “Mindy” Stirling, Robert “Bobby” Carr, and James “Jimmy” Willard, to join their crew and thus, Old Marriage was born. The name came about as a joke, a nod to their long-standing friendship and shared love for music. But it stuck, and their bond as a band strengthened, much like an old, successful marriage.
