Title:
“Roads of Yesterday”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
C G Am F
On the roads of yesterday, under the sun that’s set
C G Am F
I found a piece of my heart, an overdue locket kept
C G Am F
With memories of old, and dreams of what’s to come
C G Am F
We find our way in this world, under the same old sun.
(Chorus)
Am G F
Oh, the roads of yesterday, they lead to now
C G F
Where we find ourselves, under the same old sun somehow
Am G F
With love and loss, and dreams that shine
C G F
On the roads of yesterday, we find what’s truly divine.
(Verse 2)
C G Am F
Old letters written, in the light of a dying day
C G Am F
Speak of love and hope, in their own beautiful way
C G Am F
Our hearts echo their words, as we move through the fray
C G Am F
On the roads of yesterday, we find our own way.
(Chorus)
Am G F
Oh, the roads of yesterday, they lead to now
C G F
Where we find ourselves, under the same old sun somehow
Am G F
With love and loss, and dreams that shine
C G F
On the roads of yesterday, we find what’s truly divine.
