Backstory:

‘Paltry Rate’ came to life in 2011 with a group of four high school friends from a small town in Montana, who shared the same passion for music and storytelling. The band comprises of lead vocalist and guitarist, Daniel ‘Blue’ Stevens, bassist and backup vocalist, Lenny ‘Stones’ Jacobs, drummer, Miles ‘Moose’ Johnson, and keyboardist, Tommy ‘Keys’ Peterson. The band name ‘Paltry Rate’ came from their humble beginnings, where they gigged at local bars and cafes for next to nothing. Despite the struggles, they kept their spirits high and continued to produce music that resonated with their listeners’ hearts. The band members are known for their captivating live performances and soulful lyrics that narrate tales of love, life, and the ordinary man’s struggles.
