Backstory:
‘Partial Interval’ was formed in a quiet suburb of San Francisco, where four high school friends discovered their shared passion for music. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Dylan, bassist Mike, drummer Nick, and keyboardist Anthony. The four friends began jamming in Mike’s parents’ garage, experimenting with different sounds and genres, before eventually developing their unique sound. Dylan’s knack for thought-provoking lyrics, combined with the band’s collective talent for creating intricate melodies, soon caught the attention of the local music scene.
After winning a regional battle of the bands in their senior year, the group decided to pursue their passion for music professionally. They invested in studio time and began recording their tracks. ‘Partial Interval’ released their first self-titled EP in 2014 to moderate success, catching the attention of a local record label. Despite their growing success, the band remains true to their roots, often returning to the garage where it all started to write and rehearse new material.

Our favorite fan is undoubtedly Amy. Amy has been with us from the very beginning. She was there in Mike’s parents’ garage during our impromptu concerts, and she stood in the front row during our first official gig. She’s our biggest supporter and critic, always giving us honest feedback about our music. For Amy, Partial Interval is her favorite band because our music speaks to her.
