Backstory:
Peaceful Scarf was born out of a small-town jam session in Dayton, Ohio back in 2006. Founders, Ethan Bell (lead vocals/guitar) and Max Lawrence (drums), were merely teenagers when they discovered a shared passion for a unique genre of music that blended psychedelic rock with elements of folk and blues. A few years down the line, they were joined by Sarah Thompson (bass) and Lucas Bran (keyboard) to complete the band’s line-up. The band’s unique name, Peaceful Scarf, was inspired by a tie-dye scarf that was given to Ethan by his grandmother—a piece that he always felt brought him a sense of peace and tranquility.
