Backstory:
Personal Stranger was born in the throbbing heart of New York City in the early 2000s when a group of four unacquainted musicians met in a dingy basement beneath a local music store. The band consisted of lead singer and guitarist, Riley, drummer, Ethan, bassist, Sophie, and keyboardist, Alex. They all shared a common yearning for musical exploration and expression. Over the years, they have endured the rigors and challenges associated with band life with unrelenting passion and unwavering camaraderie, continuously evolving their musical style to reflect their collective and individual experiences. Their name, ‘Personal Stranger’, signifies the paradoxical nature of human existence, with each member of the band being both intimately familiar and alien to each other and themselves.
