Backstory

Piercing Thinking is a dynamic alternative rock band that started in Seattle, Washington in 2014. The band members, Max Fisher (lead vocals/guitar), Kyle Brown (bass/vocals), and Jake Simmons (drums/percussion), bonded over their shared love for thought-provoking music, and a desire to create something original. The trio started as college mates who would jam out in their dorm rooms, but they soon realized they had a unique sound that deserved a larger audience. Over the years, they persevered, playing in local bars and small venues, slowly but steadily building a loyal fan base with their distinctive music and incisive lyrics.
