Pleasing Aim

1. Backstory

Pleasing Aim was born out of the vibrant nightlife of Seattle in 2008. The band’s founding members, lead vocalist and guitarist Ethan Morris and drummer Leo Wright, were once bitter rivals in the local garage band scene. A chance encounter during an impromptu jam session at a dive bar led to the realization that they shared a similar vision for their music; a fusion of soulful melodies and punchy rock beats that echoes the spirit of rebellion. With the addition of bassist Mia Thompson and keyboardist Sam Bell, the band was complete. They began playing at local gigs, and their unique sound quickly earned them a loyal following.

Their journey to stardom wasn’t smooth, though. They had their fair share of failed gigs, disagreements, and creative droughts. But the passion and determination of the band members held them together. Through their shared struggles, they found a stronger bond and a clearer aim – to create music that pleases the soul and provokes thought.
