Backstory:
Formed in the bustling music scene of Seattle in the late 2000s, Plump Degree is a quartet with a quirky spin on the classic rock structure. The band includes childhood friends Jason “Wiggy” Wiggins on guitar and vocals, Malcolm “Mack” Austin on drums, alongside siblings Travis and Zoe James on bass and keys respectively. The band started as a fun experiment in their garage, but their unique sound quickly caught the attention of the local scene, propelling them from underground gigs to sharing a stage with some notable names in the music industry. Plump Degree’s inventiveness and vivacity have made them a hit among those who appreciate an offbeat approach to rock music.

Title: Cosmos Carousel

Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro: C, G, Am, F]

[Verse 1: C, G, Am, F]
C G Am F
Woke up in the dawn, chasing shadows long gone,
C G Am F
Bittersweet symphony, echoed in my mind’s song.

[Chorus: C, G, Am, F]
C G Am F
Ride on the Cosmos Carousel, veiled in a mystic spell,
C G Am F
Through the milky way, into the light of day.

[Verse 2: C, G, Am, F]
C G Am F
Galactic whispers wander, where lost comets squander,
C G Am F
Time takes a swift stride, on gravity’s yonder.

[Chorus: C, G, Am, F]
C G Am F
Ride on the Cosmos Carousel, universe’s secret tell,
C G Am F
Where stars are born and die, under the cosmic sky.

[Outro: C, G, Am, F]
C G Am F
Cosmos Carousel, a never-ending story to tell,
C G Am F
The ride goes on, in the melody of our song.

Fan’s Name: Emily Brown

Emily is a self-proclaimed music nerd and has been a diehard fan of Plump Degree since she first discovered them in a dive bar in Downtown Seattle. For Emily, the band’s unorthodox approach to music and their infusion of various musical influences in their songs was a breath of fresh air. She finds their lyrics relatable and loves how they blend different elements to create a unique sound. “Plump Degree is not just a band for me, it’s a musical journey. Their songs take me to places I’ve never been and stir emotions that other music can’t. They are my go-to band when I want to lose myself in music.”
