Plump Duck

Backstory:
In the early days of 2010, amid the hustle and bustle of New York City, a group of four friends – Jim, Sam, Hank, and Marty – decided to create music that defied the norms. They were avid fans of the unconventional and wanted their music to reflect that. Their shared love for the obscure brought them together and Plump Duck was born. They started out playing in small venues and underground pubs, steadily attracting a loyal following with their distinctive and unique sound.

After a few years, they caught the attention of a record label and their music started gaining popularity beyond their city. The band’s idiosyncratic approach to music, coupled with their genuine passion and energy, kept their fans engaged and curious about what would come next. They believed in staying true to themselves, creating music that they enjoyed, and hoped that their fans would find a piece of themselves in it too.

“Feathered Rebellion”

Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
C G Am F
Look at the ducks, they’re gathering, in the heart of the sky so blue.
C G Am F
Riding the waves of the cityscape, no fear, just a rebellious hue.

(Chorus)
C G Am F
Fly high, Plump Duck, defy the world below,
C G Am F
Shake off the chains, let your true colors show.

(Verse 2)
C G Am F
In the concrete jungle, they found their song,
C G Am F
A melody that’s wild, chaotic, and strong.

(Chorus)
C G Am F
Soar, Plump Duck, let the winds be your guide,
C G Am F
In this feathered rebellion, we’re by your side.

Fans Favorite:

George Walters is a die-hard fan of Plump Duck and he says, “This is not your regular band. They’re not just musicians, they’re artists. Their music, it’s like a painting you can hear. It’s different, it’s alive. It’s a breath of fresh air in a world filled with manufactured pop music. There’s this raw energy they bring to their performances that’s just so captivating. Plus, they’re the kind of people you’d want to grab a beer with. Down-to-earth, genuine artists who love what they do. Plump Duck is my favorite band because they’re real, they’re unique, and they make music that speaks to my soul.”
