Backstory:
Pointed Prayer rose to prominence in the underground music scene of Portland, Oregon in the late 2000s. The group was formed by childhood friends Elliot Mason (lead vocals, guitar) and Jackson “Jack” Field (drums, backup vocals) who shared a mutual passion for music and spiritual exploration. After completing high school, they took a year off to travel, where they found inspiration in the beauty and peace of monasteries in Tibet. Upon their return, they recruited Sophia Moon (bass guitar, backup vocals) and Lucas Bell (keyboards, synthesizer) to complete the band. Their music is a fusion of their spiritual reflections and experiences, seeking to evoke deep emotions and thoughts in their listeners.
