1. Backstory:

Potable Goal is a band that was born out of a cross-continental friendship and a shared love for music that resonates with the soul. The band consists of three members: Jack from Sydney, Australia; Sophia from London, England; and Alex from New York, USA. The trio met at a music festival in Barcelona, where they quickly connected over their shared musical interests. Despite the geographical distance between them, they decided to start a band and named it ‘Potable Goal’ – a metaphorical nod to their goal of creating music that is both refreshing and universally appealing, much like potable water.

The band members worked remotely, exchanging lyrics, melodies, and track ideas online. Their dedication and passion for their craft paid off when they released their first EP in 2017. They were quickly recognized by critics and audiences alike for their unique sound and meaningful lyrics. Since then, they have been touring the world, bringing their music to an ever-growing fan base.
