Title:

“Running Out of Reasons”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
Sunset fades on city streets, we’re chasing echoes in the breeze,
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
I see your face in every crowd, but you’re not really there.
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
Words we said play on repeat, the bitter taste of our defeat,
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
I’m holding on to something that’s no longer there.

(Chorus)
C G Am Fmaj7
Running out of reasons to hold on,
C G Am Fmaj7
To a love that’s faded and is gone.
C G Am Fmaj7
Maybe it’s time to let go,
C G Am Fmaj7
And find a new rhythm, a new tempo.

(Verse 2)
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
These worn out roads, they know our tale, etched in the cracks and the broken shale,
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
Our love story that once was, now just a phantom’s whisper.
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
Maybe it’s time to turn the page, set ourselves free from this cage,
Am (Am7) G Fmaj7
And let our hearts beat to a different whisper.

(Chorus)
C G Am Fmaj7
Running out of reasons to hold on,
C G Am Fmaj7
To a love that’s faded and is gone.
C G Am Fmaj7
Maybe it’s time to let go,
C G Am Fmaj7
And find a new rhythm, a new tempo.
