The band was formed in late 2012 by lead vocalist, Lana Preston, and guitarist, Jake Matthews, initially as a duo. After experimenting and jamming in the local music scenes, they were joined by drummer, Alex Kinsley, and bassist, Sam Whitmore. Over the years, Pretty Weekend has created a distinctive sound that seamlessly merges different musical landscapes.
