Backstory:

Previous Cord emerged from the intriguing tapestry of the late 90’s indie music scene in Seattle. The band was formed by childhood friends, Alex Johnson and Ben Butler, who shared a deep passion for music and songwriting. They started off in their parents’ basements, developed their sound, and gradually paved their way into local pubs and clubs where their authentic resonance struck a chord with the listeners. Joined by Sara Mitchell and Jake Thompson, Previous Cord evolved from a casual garage band to a group with a unique sound, blending traditional rock elements with influential indie vibes.
