Backstory:
Pricey Dish was formed in the heart of London in the winter of 2012. The group is made up of four members, each bringing something unique to the table. Ben ‘Benny’ Anderson, an ex-chef with a passion for music, picked up the bass and started the band. He was joined by his childhood friend, Tim ‘Tinny’ Harris, a former stockbroker who swapped his suit for a drum kit. They were later joined by the charismatic vocalist, Sara ‘Sizzle’ Wilson, a waitress with a voice that could melt hearts, and the enigmatic Jake ‘Jazzy’ Daniels on lead guitar, a busker discovered in the underground tube stations.
Despite coming from different backgrounds, they shared a common ground in their love for music. Their shared experiences, dreams, and struggles in the city shaped their sound, giving rise to a band that’s as unique as the city that birthed it. They named the band “Pricey Dish,” a nod to their humble beginnings in the hustle and bustle of London’s food industry.
