Pricey Incidence

Backstory:

Pricey Incidence was born in the gritty, bustling streets of Brooklyn, New York. It all began when Lead vocalist, Kieran “Kay” DeLuca, a barista by day and musician by night, decided to collaborate with his workmate, Jordan “Jordy” McCall, a tattoo artist and drummer. They found a shared passion for music and storytelling. Soon they were joined by a bassist named Ricky “Rick” Boone, a radio jockey, and a guitarist named Enzo “EZ” Russo, a mechanic. Their shared experiences, heartaches, triumphs, and the struggles of living in the city served as the primary inspiration for their music.

On a cold winter night in 2012, the band officially formed during an impromptu jam session in the basement of a local coffee shop. The name Pricey Incidence came from their belief that every experience—good or bad—carries a certain price, and those moments shaped who they were as individuals and as a band.

“City of Shadows”

Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Down the streets of Brooklyn, we [D] walk alone,
[Em] Heartaches in our pockets, the city is [C] our home.
[G] Torn jeans and leather jackets, inked [D] skin, and worn-out shoes,
[Em] Struggle is our anthem, it’s the [C] only life we choose.

(Chorus)
[G] We are the [D] keepers of the night,
[Em] Lost in the [C] city of shadows.
[G] Paying the [D] price of every incidence,
[Em] This is the [C] only world we know.

(Verse 2)
[G] Sky-scrapers are our mountains, subways [D] are our seas,
[Em] Every corner has a story, every [C] graffiti a piece of me.
[G] We wear our hearts on our sleeves, and [D] dreams in our eyes,
[Em] Fueled by the city’s chaos, under the [C] neon lights.

(Chorus)
[G] We are the [D] keepers of the night,
[Em] Lost in the [C] city of shadows.
[G] Paying the [D] price of every incidence,
[Em] This is the [C] only world we know.

(Outro)
[G] In this city of shadows, we [D] find our light,
[Em] Pricey Incidence, it’s [C] our fight.
