Probable Carbon

1. Backstory:
Probable Carbon was formed in the bustling alleys of Detroit in 2013. The band was born out of a chance encounter between a disgruntled physicist, Richard Kent, and a vagabond poet, Marianne Dupree. Over late-night philosophical debates and a shared love for music, they decided to form a band. They roped in two more science enthusiasts, their old high school friends, on drums and bass – computer scientist turned drummer, Paul Turner, and astrophysicist-cum-bass guitarist, Jenny Collins. Together, they found a unique blend of their passions, creating music that served as an unusual but intriguing fusion of science and poetry.

2. Music Genre:
Probable Carbon is an indie rock band that incorporates elements of progressive rock and psychedelic pop. Their lyrics often weave scientific concepts with human emotions, creating a unique soundscape that is simultaneously cerebral and soul-stirring.
