Quarterly Scene

Backstory:

Quarterly Scene was formed in Austin, Texas, by four childhood friends: Jeff on lead vocals, Mark on lead guitar, Tim on bass, and Paul on drums. These friends spent their high school years buried in their parents’ garages, experimenting with sounds and styles, inspired by the various music scenes that blossomed and faded with the changing seasons. During their college years, they decided to form Quarterly Scene, a name representing their passion for continuously evolving music and a nod to the city’s ongoing love affair with its thriving music scene.

They began performing at local bars and clubs, their unique sound grabbing attention, and soon they were playing at larger venues and festivals. Amid their growing popularity, they stayed true to their roots, their music, a fusion of their diverse influences, reflecting the vibrant music scene of Austin. Their journey from a garage band to one of the most promising acts in the country was not without hurdles, but the struggle added depth to their music and galvanized their bond.

Title:

“Seasons of Rhythm”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Intro]
G – D – Am – C

[Verse]
G D
Summer came with a rhythm,
Am C
With a melody in the wind
G D
Autumn whispers tales of sorrow
Am C
And a symphony in the rain
G D
Winter’s song seems so hollow
Am C
A cold refrain in the snow
G D
Spring’s tempo dances tomorrow
Am C
In the flowers as they grow

[Chorus]
G D Am C
Through the seasons of rhythm,
G D Am C
We find a reason to sing
G D Am C
Our music map in the weather,
G D Am C
In the seasons, we find our wings

[Outro]
G – D – Am – C
