Quiet Lamp

Backstory:

Quiet Lamp was birthed amidst the rain-soaked cobblestone streets of Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 2007 by childhood friends, Neil “Quill” O’Sullivan and Eamon “Echo” Connolly, the band started as a simple pastime, an escape from the mundanity of their desk jobs. Quill, a poet at heart, penned the lyrics while Echo wove them into melodic narratives. Their music resonated with the common folk, capturing the spirit of the city, its struggles and triumphs. Their break came when they performed at a local pub on open mic night; the audience was enthralled, and a record producer in the crowd offered them their first record deal.

Fan Testimonial:

Fan’s name: Maggie O’Riordan

“I’ve been a fan of Quiet Lamp since their first gig at O’Shea’s Pub. Their music, it’s like a balm for the soul. It reminds me of rainy afternoons in Dublin, a warm cuppa, and the comforting familiarity of home. Quill’s deep, soothing voice paired with Echo’s melodious strumming, it’s a match made in heaven. They are my favorite band because their music speaks to me; it’s raw, poignant, and painfully beautiful. Every song feels like a piece of their heart shared with the audience, and that’s a rare thing.”
