Quintessential Bishop began as an ambitious project of childhood friends, Jake Evanson and Freddy Rayburn, in the whimsical town of Bakersfield, Vermont. Jake, a self-taught guitarist with a knack for creating evocative melodies, and Freddy, a poet who found solace in his words, decided to amalgamate their talents and thus the Quintessential Bishop was born. The band was initially a platform for the duo to express their ideas and experiment with music, but fascinatingly, it took an unexpected turn. Their raw, emotional sound resonated with the local populace, propelling them to stardom in the town’s underground music scene.
