Quixotic Club

Backstory:
Quixotic Club was conceived in the bustling city of Brooklyn, New York in 2013 when roommates and best friends, Jack Griffin (vocals/guitar) and Mason Potts (drums), decided to turn their shared passion for music into a creative venture. What started as impromptu jam sessions in their dingy apartment, soon attracted their neighbor Lucy Santos (bass) to join in, and later the talented violinist, Alice Hopper from their local bar, completing the quartet. The band’s name is a reflection of their sense of unrealistic idealism and romanticism that they channel into their music, creating a soundscape that’s both unique and challenging.

Title:
“Voyage to Nowhere”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C G
In the heart of the city that never sleeps,
Em C D
Where dreams are vast, as the ocean deep.
G D Em
In the labyrinth of chaos, under neon lights,
C D G
We found our peace, in the mellow nights.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Let’s take a voyage to nowhere,
Em C G D
In the realm where hearts dare.
Em C G D
Held captive by the moment, let’s just be,
Em C G D
In the voyage to nowhere, we’re finally free.

(Verse 2)
G D Em
Cityscapes turn to landscapes, as the miles increase,
C D G
In the canvas of the horizon, our worries cease.
Em C D
Under the starry spectacle, on this winding road,
G D Em
This voyage to nowhere, is where stories unfold.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Let’s take a voyage to nowhere,
Em C G D
In the realm where hearts dare.
Em C G D
Held captive by the moment, let’s just be,
Em C G D
In the voyage to nowhere, we’re finally free.
