Quizzical Engine is a four-piece Indie-pop band hailing from the vibrant city of Manchester, England. The band was formed in 2015 when the lead vocalist and primary songwriter, Oliver Mulligan, met drummer Amelia Gibson at a local music festival. The shared love for music and a mutual admiration for bands like “The Smiths” and “Radiohead” led to the creation of Quizzical Engine. After a year of writing and practicing, they were joined by bassist James “J.D.” Douglas and keyboardist Rebecca Lane.
