Backstory:
Ragged Evolution’s story is one of resilience and passion; a testament to the power of dreams. Formed in 2010 in the small town of Chesterfield, England, by pre-teens Gary Nicholson (lead vocals), his brother Stuart Nicholson (drums), and their childhood friends Ben Jenkins (lead guitar) and Keith Morris (bass guitar), they formed a bond that would sustain them through the trials and tribulations of their careers. Starting out in a ragged garage, they evolved into a force to be reckoned with on the indie rock scene.

Their journey wasn’t always smooth. They faced numerous obstacles – from financial struggles to line-up changes. But they never lost sight of their dreams. When their initial demo tape got rejected by numerous record labels, they didn’t lose heart. Instead, they took it as a challenge and continued to hone their craft. Their perseverance paid off when they were finally picked up by ‘Underground Records’ in 2015. The years of struggle and growth shaped their music and gave birth to their soulful and gritty sound, earning them a loyal fanbase.
